John,

Thanks so much of the kudos and link to my website. Found this article while google checking my name search rank :)

Yes I consider the RocknRoller Multicart my favorite piece of gear in my solo rig, so let me share a little bit about my experience with it.

I got a RocknRoller Multicart becuase I saw one in action. I did a gig with a drummer who had one and bought I one the next week. Since then at least 5 other musicians have bought one after they saw mine.

The RocknRoller Multicart determines how much gear I take on a solo gig. If I can't fit it on the cart, I do not take it. See pic: http://marcdobson.com/new_images/rnrcart/MarcDobson-rocknroll-multicart1.JPG

That's two racks, two speakers, 3 guitars and one speaker stand bag. I pack all my cables, pedals and extra stuff into the racks.

I leave my racks on the cart about 90% of the time. In fact I only take the off IF I am on a stage or have to go up steps in the load in. See this older pic:

http://marcdobson.com/new_images/rnrcart/MarcDobson-rocknroll-multicart2.JPG

The racks go on the big wheel side of cart. I've slid the cart closed and open with racks on it for 5? years and have never had a rack fall off.

That leads to a suggestion. Because the rack ends up on my stage I wish the wheel hubs were not yellow but black. Someday I may get around to painting them black.

I commonly joke when someone comments on my RocknRoller Multicart "I would be more upset if someone stole my cart then one of my guitars". I play all sorts of gigs all with different load in's. This cart allows me to avoid parking in the "load in area", "wheel chair parking" or other area were I might get a ticket. I just park. I walk with the cart once from my van to the stage.

Being able to leave my rig on wheels also means I can move my rig quickly if I am about to get rained out OR if them drunk dancers need more room in a venue that does not have a dance floor.

The RocknRoller Multicart is worth every penny I paid for it. My only other complaint is I probably have gained a few pounds due to loosing the exercise of loading gear.

Hi, GMD here! We had a lot of fun seeing everyone at NAMM!

I live in Houston and have one of the top-rated bands here for jazz, R&B, and Caribbean music. We do tons of concerts, corporate events, festivals, and are the House Band for the Houston Texans pro football team. Just about every major pro musican I know here has one or more RocknRollers. When we perform at a music festivals it looks like a RocknRoller parking lot backstage. I think I may have to develop some designer license plates for these carts! (I saw some guys accidently rolling off with mine before I stopped them at the last festival we did).

I just developed some new Lo-Pro rear wheels for the carts which are just starting to arrive in our headquarters. These wheels are specially designed to be lightweight, strong, cool-looking, shock-absorbing, and have low rolling resistance. The can instantly interchange with 8" pneumatic wheels. Presently only the 8"x2" size is available.

Also, the newest carts all have pre-drilled holes in the handles to accommodate shelf kits and a host of up-coming accessories. Stay tuned!
